Manna

One of the things I love about our curriculum is the emphasis on Bible study.  I love their ideas on how to make the stories come alive.

This week on our Bible study we looked at God's provision for the His people on their journey to the Promised Land.  The girls enjoyed making baskets like the Israelite women would have been carrying on their journey.

I doubt theirs were made from strawberry containers though ;) 

Then, suddenly, manna started pouring from the sky ;) (thanks Pauline for the cute idea!).

They could gather as much as they needed for their snack but NOT more than that.  They knew how that story went so they pushed it to see what would happen AND sure enough they found worms in their manna later that day.  Disobeying never pays off!  he, he!
