These little boards and rubber bands are part of the manipulatives that come with the Saxon Math Kindergarten curriculum. We don't use any math curriculum but I got this from another homeschool Mom for free and you are having a blast using it. The idea is that the adult creates some shapes in one board and the student tries to recreate them with precision (color, distance, etc.) on their own board. I think it develops fine motor skills and attention to detail skills but I'm sure the creators of Saxon Math would have more to say than that.
These little designs you created on your own to try to get me to recreate them on my board. One is a church and one is a cross. I asked you if you knew that Jesus died in a cross and you said "Yes Mom, I knew." Very matter of fact ;)
