The first ballet

A few weeks ago, I took the kids to their first ballet.  It was a production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.  We thought it would be fun for the girls to wear their snow white costumes and indeed it was.  They had a great time!

The Lutcher Theater is a beautiful building with lovely chandeliers and nice, ornate carpets.

Future Daughter in Law:  Let this be proof of my efforts to instill a love of culture and arts in your future husband.  You are welcomed ;) It was hard work to keep him entertained but the stairs helped.

As usual,  some of the lovely older girls in our coop helped.  They are a huge blessing!  This is sweet Alyssa.  She has become my girl's big sister.  They love her.

The ballet only lasted 1 hour.  It's a special program with short performances with the goal of introducing kids to the arts in an appropriate amount of time, keeping in mind young kiddos can not sit still for much longer than that.

All in all a wonderful first ballet experience.
